We are here today to participate in the regular campaign program of Hell Chosun and to raise awareness about the failures and injustices of the imperialist system. Imperialism serves the interests of a few while exploiting workers and marginalized people in our society. That is why we must continue to struggle against oppression, exploitation, and inequality.

오늘은 헬조선변혁 전국추진위의 정기적인 선전투쟁을 하는 날이라 이 자리에 모였습니다. 우리는 제국주의 체제가 만들어낸 모순와 불의, 그리고 그 잔혹한 본질을 폭로하고자 합니다. 제국주의는 극소수 지배계급의 이익만을 위해 존재하며, 노동자와 사회적 약자들을 끝없이 착취하고 억압합니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리는 침묵할 수 없습니다. 억압에 맞서 싸워야 하며, 착취에 저항해야 하고, 불평등한 체제를 끝장내기 위한 투쟁을 멈출 수 없습니다.

Driven by greed and profit, the capitalist-imperialist system creates overproduction while millions of people remain poor and unable to meet their basic needs. When goods cannot be sold, economic crises emerge. Companies respond by cutting production, laying off workers, and reducing wages. As unemployment rises, workers lose their purchasing power, causing markets to weaken further and deepening economic stagnation and inflation.

탐욕과 이윤만을 위해 움직이는 자본주의·제국주의 체제는 한편에서는 끝없는 과잉생산을 만들어내면서도, 다른 한편에서는 수백만 민중을 빈곤 속에 내던져 기본적인 삶조차 유지하지 못하게 만듭니다. 생산된 상품이 팔리지 못하는 순간, 체제는 곧바로 경제위기라는 형태로 그 모순을 드러냅니다. 기업들은 자신들의 이윤을 지키기 위해 생산을 축소하고, 노동자들을 거리로 내몰며, 임금을 삭감시킵니다. 실업이 증가할수록 노동자 민중의 구매력은 무너지고, 시장은 더욱 침체됩니다. 결국 체제는 스스로 만들어낸 불황과 물가폭등 속에서 더욱 깊은 위기로 빠져들게 됩니다.

To protect profits, big corporations and imperialist powers intensify attacks on workers through mass layoffs, contractualization, automation, and the use of AI to reduce labor costs without ensuring workers’ welfare and rights. At the same time, wars and military interventions are carried out to control countries rich in oil, minerals, and other natural resources for the benefit of powerful nations and corporations.

거대 자본과 제국주의 세력은 자신들의 이윤을 지켜내기 위해 노동자들에 대한 공격을 더욱 강화하고 있습니다. 대량해고와 비정규직화, 자동화와 인공지능의 도입은 노동자의 삶과 권리를 보장하기 위한 것이 아니라, 오직 노동비용을 줄이고 더 많은 이윤을 짜내기 위한 수단으로 사용되고 있습니다. 노동자들의 생존은 외면한 채, 자본가들은 기술 발전의 성과마저 독점하며 민중을 더욱 불안정한 삶으로 내몰고 있습니다. 동시에 제국주의 국가들은 석유와 광물, 천연자원으로 가득한 나라들을 지배하기 위해 전쟁과 군사개입을 끊임없이 자행하고 있습니다. 강대국과 초국적 기업들은 민중의 삶과 주권을 짓밟으면서까지 자원을 약탈하고, 세계 곳곳에서 피와 폭력을 통해 자신들의 지배를 유지하고 있습니다. 오늘날의 전쟁은 자본과 권력을 위한 약탈 전쟁입니다.

The burden of these crises is always placed on workers, migrants, peasants, and ordinary people. That is why we must unite, organize, and strengthen our collective struggle for justice, peace, genuine democracy, and a society that prioritizes human needs over profit.

이 모든 위기의 대가는 언제나 노동자와 이주민, 농민과 평범한 민중들에게 전가됩니다. 자본가들과 지배세력은 자신들의 이윤과 권력을 지켜내기 위해 민중의 삶을 희생시키고 있으며, 고통은 오직 아래로만 떠넘겨지고 있습니다. 그렇기에 우리는 더욱 단결해야 합니다. 서로를 조직하고 연대하며, 정의와 평화, 진정한 민주주의를 위한 공동의 투쟁을 더욱 강력하게 만들어 나가야 합니다. 우리는 이윤이 아니라 인간의 삶과 존엄이 우선되는 사회를 위해 끝까지 싸워야 합니다.

We are also here today to condemn the continuing US-Israeli wars of aggression and occupation across the world.

오늘 우리는 전 세계 곳곳에서 자행되고 있는 미국과 이스라엘의 침략 전쟁과 점령을 강력히 규탄하기 위해 이 자리에 섰습니다. 제국주의 세력은 민중의 삶과 주권을 짓밟으며 전쟁과 폭력으로 지배를 유지하고 있습니다. 우리는 침략과 학살에 반대하며, 억압받는 민중들의 저항과 해방 투쟁에 연대합니다.

We strongly condemn the genocide and occupation in Palestine. The suffering and killing of the Palestinian people did not begin today. For 78 years, since the Nakba of 1948, Palestinians have endured displacement, occupation, bombardment, and systematic violence, yet justice and genuine liberation remain denied to them.

우리는 팔레스타인에서 자행되고 있는 학살과 점령을 강력히 규탄합니다. 팔레스타인 민중의 고통과 희생은 오늘 시작된 것이 아닙니다. 1948년 나크바 이후 78년 동안 팔레스타인인들은 강제추방과 점령, 폭격과 조직적인 폭력 속에서 살아야 했습니다. 그러나 지금까지도 정의와 진정한 해방은 그들에게 허락되지 않고 있습니다.

We also condemn the US-Israeli attacks and military aggression against Iran, which have already resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians, many of them students and youth.

우리는 또한 이란에 대한 미국과 이스라엘의 군사공격과 침략을 강력히 규탄합니다. 이 전쟁으로 이미 수많은 민간인이 희생되었으며, 그 가운데에는 학생과 청년들도 포함되어 있습니다. 제국주의 전쟁의 희생자는 언제나 평범한 민중들입니다.

We strongly condemn all foreign intervention and political repression against sovereign nations, including Venezuela and Cuba. US imperialism continues to trample on national sovereignty through sanctions, political interference, and military threats. Following its aggression against Venezuela and Iran, the US is escalating its blockade and threats against Cuba. We will never remain silent in the face of imperialist attempts to threaten and invade Cuba.

우리는 또한 베네수엘라와 쿠바를 비롯한 주권국가들에 대한 모든 외세 개입과 정치적 탄압을 강력히 규탄합니다. 제국주의 세력은 민중의 자결권과 주권을 짓밟으며 경제제재와 정치공작, 군사적 압박을 통해 세계 곳곳을 지배하려고 합니다. 미 제국주의는 베네수엘라와 이란에 이어 쿠바에 대한 제제와 압박을 강화하고 무력침공을 협박하고 있습니다. 우리는 이런 미 제국주의의 쿠바 침략 기도를 좌시하지 않을 것입니다.

As Filipinos, we also condemn the brutal killings in Barangay Salamanca, Toboso, Negros Occidental, in the Visayas region of the Philippines. On April 19, 2026, 19 people were killed during a military operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Human rights groups, civil society organizations, and the Commission on Human Rights have called for an independent investigation into the incident amid conflicting claims regarding the identities and circumstances of those killed.

필리핀 민중의 한 사람으로서 우리는 또한 필리핀 비사야 지역 네그로스 옥시덴탈 주 토보소 살라망카 바랑가이에서 벌어진 잔혹한 학살을 강력히 규탄합니다. 2026년 4월 19일, 필리핀군(AFP)이 벌인 군사작전 과정에서 19명이 목숨을 잃었습니다. 그러나 희생자들의 신원과 사건의 경위에 대해 상반된 주장들이 제기되고 있으며, 인권단체와 시민사회, 필리핀 인권위원회는 진상 규명을 위한 독립적인 조사를 요구하고 있습니다. 우리는 국가폭력과 군사적 탄압 아래 민중의 생명과 권리가 희생되고 있는 현실을 폭로하며, 모든 학살과 인권탄압에 맞선 투쟁과 연대할 것을 촉구합니다.

Among those reported killed were journalists, youth and student leaders, community researchers, human rights advocates, and peasant organizers, including Alyssa Alano, RJ Ledesma, Lyle Prijoles, Maureen Santuyo, Kai Sorem, and Errol Wendel. Human rights advocates and international organizations have raised serious concerns over possible violations of international humanitarian law and the targeting of civilians.

희생자들 가운데에는 언론인과 청년·학생 지도자들, 지역조사 활동가, 인권옹호자, 농민조직 활동가들도 포함되어 있었습니다. 알리사 알라노, RJ 레데스마, 라일 프리홀레스, 모린 산투요, 카이 소렘, 에롤 웬델 첸과 같은 활동가들이 이번 학살로 목숨을 잃었습니다. 인권단체들과 국제기구들은 민간인 표적 공격과 국제인도법 위반 가능성에 대해 심각한 우려를 제기하고 있습니다. 우리는 민중의 목소리를 침묵시키기 위한 국가폭력과 정치적 탄압을 강력히 규탄하며, 모든 희생자들의 진실과 정의를 요구합니다.

This incident took place during the annual US-Philippines Balikatan military exercises, which involve thousands of US troops alongside forces from allied countries and are among the largest joint military operations in the region.

이번 사건은 매년 진행되는 미·필리핀 합동군사훈련 ‘발리카탄’ 기간 중 벌어졌습니다. 발리카탄 훈련은 수천 명의 미군과 동맹국 병력이 참가하는 대규모 합동군사작전으로, 아시아·태평양 지역에서 가장 큰 군사훈련 가운데 하나입니다. 우리는 이러한 군사훈련이 민중의 안전과 평화를 위협하고, 제국주의적 군사개입과 국가폭력을 더욱 강화하고 있음을 강력히 폭로하고 규탄합니다.

We believe that wars driven by imperialist interests, foreign domination, and the pursuit of profit can never bring genuine peace. Real peace can only come through justice, national sovereignty, respect for human rights, and the liberation of oppressed peoples.

우리는 제국주의적 이해관계와 외세 지배, 이윤 추구를 위해 벌어지는 전쟁이 결코 진정한 평화를 가져올 수 없다고 믿습니다. 진정한 평화는 오직 정의와 민족자결, 인권에 대한 존중, 그리고 억압받는 민중의 해방을 통해서만 가능합니다. 우리는 모든 침략과 지배, 착취에 반대하며 자유와 해방을 위한 민중의 투쟁에 끝까지 연대할 것입니다.

We stand in solidarity with all peoples struggling for national liberation, social justice, democracy, and human dignity.

우리는 민족해방과 사회정의, 민주주의와 인간의 존엄을 위해 투쟁하는 전 세계 모든 민중들과 굳게 연대할 것입니다. 억압과 착취에 맞선 민중의 저항은 결코 고립되지 않으며, 우리의 연대와 투쟁 또한 멈추지 않을 것입니다.
