香港菲律賓人權與和平運動（HKCAHRPP）與菲律賓移民和人民，以及國際社會一起，歡迎瑪麗·簡·維洛索（Mary Jane Veloso）回到菲律賓。

The Hong Kong Campaign for Human Rights and Peace in the Philippines (HKCAHRPP) is one with Filipino migrants and people, and the International community, in welcoming back Mary Jane Veloso to the Philippines.

自2015年瑪麗·簡·維洛索的案件被國際新聞報導以來，我們HKCAHRPP一直與她的家人和國際社會站在一起，呼籲瑪麗·簡·維洛索的脫罪與自由。作為一個來自貧窮家庭的單身母親，她為了養活孩子而到國外工作。我們不應該忘記她在2010年被印度尼西亞判處死刑的經歷。当她的工作細節被揭露時，她被菲律賓的一名招募人員欺騙並販賣到印度尼西亞。

Since International news broke of the case of Mary Jane Veloso in 2015, we in HKCAHRPP have stood in solidarity with her family and the international community calling for her freedom. Coming from a poor family, she is a single mother who sought work outside the country to support her children. We can not forget how she was sentenced to death in 2010 in Indonesia for drug trafficking. As the details of her case were revealed, she was duped by a recruiter in the Philippines who trafficked her to Indonesia.

We joined the collective relief in 2015 when at the last moment, the Indonesian government spared her from death as her traffickers were finally arrested in the Philippines. Now our hearts are full as we see photos and videos of Mary Jane finally reuniting with her family in the Philippines. Both are clear victories of the people’s determination and solidarity around the world, raising our collective voice and highlighting the reality that she is a victim of human trafficking.

現在，她回到菲律賓，我們再次與菲律賓人民和更廣泛的國際社會一起呼籲菲律賓總統馬科斯二世（Marcos Jr.）赦免她全部罪名。她已經受夠了苦難。是時候讓她真正自由了。

Now as she is back in the Philippines, we again join with the Filipino people and the wider International community in the call for Filipino President Marcos Jr. to grant her full and absolute clemency. She has suffered more than enough. It is time for her to finally be free.

Until such a time that Filipino families are not forced apart by the need to survive but instead having meaningful work at home, we invite all peace loving people in Hong Kong and around the world to join us.
